ASSESSMENT · REHABILITATION · RETURN TO ACTIVITY
Make sense of your symptoms.
Find a way forward.
Physiotherapy for everyday movement, injury recovery and the activities you want to return to. Thoughtful assessment, clear explanations and care built around your goals.
IS THIS FOR YOU?
For the things that are
getting in your way.
You do not need to be an athlete to benefit from physiotherapy. The same careful approach applies whether you want to walk more comfortably, work with less difficulty or return to your sport.
- Muscle, joint or tendon symptoms affecting day-to-day life
- A recent injury or a recurring problem that needs a clearer plan
- Rehabilitation after surgery, in line with your clinical guidance
- A return to exercise, sport or physically demanding work
YOUR APPOINTMENT
What happens when you come in?
01
Understand
Talk through your symptoms, relevant health history, current activity and what you would like to change.
02
Assess
Look at the movement, strength and physical tasks that are relevant to you. Findings are explained in plain language.
03
Plan
Agree practical goals and treatment options. These may include rehabilitation exercises, advice and hands-on care when useful.
AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT
A plan you understand.
You will leave with priorities for the next stage: what to work on, how to manage activity and when a review may help. Follow-up appointments are based on your needs, rather than a fixed course for everyone.
Your plan can change as your needs and progress change. If a different assessment or another professional would be more appropriate, we will explain why.
Will I be given exercises?
Rehabilitation often includes exercises or changes to activity, but your plan should be realistic for your circumstances. Your physiotherapy plan will explain the purpose of each exercise and how to approach it.
Is hands-on treatment always needed?
No. Hands-on care may be useful for some people, alongside advice and rehabilitation. The assessment helps you decide what is appropriate for you.
Can you help after surgery?
Post-operative rehabilitation can be planned around the procedure, your surgeon’s guidance and your current stage of recovery. Bring any relevant discharge or rehabilitation instructions.

WHEN ADDITIONAL SUPPORT MAY HELP
Orthotics & bracing.
An orthotic or brace may sometimes be considered to support comfort, function or a return to activity. It is an option to assess, not an automatic part of treatment.
Suitability, fit, intended use and any additional costs can be discussed before you decide. Ask about this during your physiotherapy assessment.
