AT WORK · WORKING FROM HOME
Make your workspace
work for you.
A practical assessment of how your equipment, tasks and working habits fit together. For individuals and organisations looking for clear, realistic recommendations.
LOOK BEYOND THE CHAIR
Your work has
a physical side.
A workstation assessment considers what you do across the day, as well as the furniture and equipment in front of you. The aim is to identify useful changes, rather than prescribe one fixed posture.
- Desk, chair, screen and input-device setup
- The tasks you perform and how long you spend on them
- Movement, breaks and variation across the working day
- Practical changes that fit the available space and equipment
HOW IT WORKS
From observation
to practical advice.
01
Agree the scope
Discuss the setting, number of people, concerns and whether the assessment can be delivered remotely or needs an on-site visit.
02
Review the work
Look at the setup and tasks, hear about any difficulties and try relevant adjustments.
03
Set out the changes
Agree recommendations and any report or follow-up required. Scope and fees are confirmed before booking.
FOR EMPLOYERS
Useful advice.
A clear scope.
Contact us to discuss individual or organisational requirements. Agree who will receive the findings, what information is needed and how any personal information will be handled.
If an individual needs a clinical assessment for symptoms, that can be discussed separately from the workstation review.
Can you assess a home workstation?
Home working can be discussed. Contact us with the general setup and what you would like help with so the format and scope can be agreed.
Will I need to buy new equipment?
Not necessarily. An assessment can consider adjustments to what you already have. Any equipment recommendations should be explained in context.
Can an employer arrange an assessment?
Yes, enquiries from employers are welcome. Scope, location, reporting requirements, consent and fees are agreed before the assessment.
